For Kids
a smiling mother with a child before her first visit at Sussex Dental
It is important to introduce your child to proper dental health habits early. Even before the teeth have erupted, you should rinse and massage your baby’s gums. Once the first tooth comes in or by the child’s first birthday, you should schedule their first office visit.

At this appointment we will work on establishing a comfortable rapport with your child and introducing them to the dental experience. We will assess their current overall oral health and discuss any issues we encounter.

An early and pleasant first experience helps ensure that regular follow-up visits run smoothly.
